Mrs. Mary Lou Adams, 59, of Coweta. Oklahoma formerly of Talihina, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008 at her residence after battling gall bladder cancer that she was diagnosed with 7 weeks ago..Mrs. Adams was born in Bakersfield, California on November 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert and Francis (Alonize) LaFaver. In her lifetime she was a mom and grandma, her first priority was God and her children. She worked as a cook at Head Start in Talihina, Oklahoma for several years.
She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law; Paulette Marley, of Talihina, Oklahoma, Robin and John Bennett of Coweta, Oklahoma; Jill and Johnny Ellis of Wilburton, Oklahoma and Katie Adams of Talihina, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law; Paul and Barbara Coffey of Taft, Oklahoma; one brother and one sister-in-law; Bobby and Patricia LaFaver, two sisters; JoAnn McHolland and Betty Dameron all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.; her mother; Francis LaFaver. grandchildern; Pete Marley, Jr., Mandy Marley, Josh Bennett, Sam Bennett, Hailey Coffey, Kendra Coffey, Kortney Coffey, Amber Sutton, Shaylynn Roberts, Dusty Ellis and Chloe Ellis; one great grandchild; Cheyenne Isabell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother; David LaFaver
Graveside services will be held, Saturday, April 26, 2008
Interment will be under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.008, at 2 P.M. at the Peachland Cemetery, Bengal, Oklahoma with Rev. Dan Duncan officiating.
