Son of Jack Zachariah Beckham and Mary E McMillan. He was married in 1879 to Dora Ella Pitts.
She was the daughter of James A Pitts and Mary E Hutton. Dora married Jacob C Beckham in 1879. To this union was born 9 children : Mary Elizabeth Beckham , Emma Beckham , Lillie Beckham, Benjamin Beckham, William Hollis Beckham, Homer Johnson Beckham , Guy Franklin Beckham, Charles Beckham, and Marlie Beckham
