Funeral services for Joshua Alonzo, 23, Roosevelt, was held on Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Roosevelt. Rev. Dennis Yates conducted the service. Burial was in Roosevelt Cemetery under the direction of Hackney-Gish Funeral Home, Hobart.

Josh was born on Jul. 19, 1977 to Servey Alonzo, Jr., and Holly Alonzo and passed away June 29, 2001 in an Oklahoma City hospital from complications caused by burns from an explosion at his home.

Survivors include his parents, one brother, Jeremy Alonzo, and one sister, Jenny Alonzo, and his grandmother, Mrs. Olivia Alonzo, Roosevelt, and many other relatives and friends.
