Cemetery notes and/or description: SW 1/4 Section 28, Township 7 N, Range 15 W.

From Mountain View, Oklahoma, take Hwy 9 west for 2 3/4 miles, turn left on county road 2340, proceed 2 5/8 miles; turn left cemetery is straight ahead. You can also turn left at the Rainy Mountain Kiowa Church sign drive past the church cemetery, the church, follow the road back to the right and it will take you to the Rainy Mountain Cemetery.
 
This is one of the six Indian cemeteries located in Kiowa County. Five of these cemeteries are called inter-tribal cemeteries, containing Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache graves and are owned by the Kiowa, Comanche and Apache Tribes.

This cemetery is the burial site of Chief Gotebo of the Kiowa.
