Services for Ruby Iva Loyd were held in Mountain View,
Oklahoma, Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Jack Loftiss Funeral
Home, Cordell, Oklahoma, was in charge of arrangements.
Ruby Iva Loyd, born January 23, 1912 in Mountain View,
Oklahoma, has gone to be with her Lord July 21, 2004, the same day 24
years ago her husband of 51 years, John Tom Loyd passed away.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Lizzie
Law; three brothers, eight sisters; three grandchildren; one
great-grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Glen Loyd; Carolyn Webb
and husband, Donnie; Johnny Loyd and wife, Brandy; grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, Katherine Webb; Julie Webb; Shauna Kusnetz and
husband, Ira; Jodi Miller and husband, Michael Wallace; Anthony Loyd and
wife, Michelle, Jason and Wellsley; Kelley Webb and wife Michelle,
Jennica and Robby; Aldous Blake Loyd; Jessica Cohen-Loyd; Patricia
Wallace, Preston and Ashley; Gary Loyd and wife Tanya, Ryan, Leslie,
Nickie and Mattie; Glenda Stupp and Jessica; Jennifer and Brian; sister,
Juanita Cruger and many, many more family members and friends.
What a life she had. This strong, tough, hardworking
farm woman from Oklahoma who moved to Alabama in the early fifties. She
was a member of Grace Baptist Chapel for the last 35 years. She loved
her family get-togethers and playing dominoes.
