Funeral Services for Grant Jackson, Hobart, were at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Roosevelt, Oklahoma with Rev. Tim Tutten, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, Oklahoma.
Grant David Jackson was born May 10, 1989, in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma to David and Pam (Stroud) Jackson and died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in an automobile accident in Clinton, Custer County, Oklahoma at the age of 21.
He graduated from Lone Wolf High School, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma in May, 2008 and worked at SKF in Hobart, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, kids, his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, David and Pam Jackson, Roosevelt, Oklahoma; one sister, Megan and husband Gary Pappilli and a niece Ri'Leigh of Hobart, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Clitha Stroud Kilbourne; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents: Aaron & Ruth L. Jackson; great-grandparents, Erskin and Mary Fowler; maternal grandfather, Thurman Stroud; maternal great-grandparents, Dan and Nora Jones; and one cousin Kodie Foster.
Casketbearers were Ray Permenter, Jacob Shelburne, Cory Meinert, Joe Baxter, Andrew Watson, Jessie Fox, Jacob Chamberlin, Clint Swanson, Brian Null, Colvin Null, Kelly Foster, Brannon Jackson and Chris Swanson.
