Kyle grew up in the country in Cornell, Illinois. He attended school in Cornell and graduated from Flanagan High School. He moved to Oklahoma in 2008 and settled in Macomb.
Kyle enjoyed hunting, fishing and the country life. He attended Macomb Baptist Church and had a close church family. Kyle was known for his kindness and thoughtfulness to others and loved his dogs, Bonnie and Spike.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Patricia Burkitt.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, David and Karen Burkitt of Macomb, OK; brother, Brett Burkitt of West Palm Beach, FL; grandparents, Robert and Norma Sherwood of Streator, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends; and his beloved dogs, Bonnie and Spike.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Macomb Baptist Church, Macomb, OK with Pastor James Benshoof officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
