Werner "Butch" Nash was born July 30, 1956 in Bremerhaven, Germany, to Renate and Franklin Eugene Nash. He passed away March 3, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 7 months and 3 days.
Butch moved with his family to Hobart, Oklahoma from Germany. In 1974 he graduated from Hobart High School and later enlisted in the US Army. After his discharge, he moved to Toledo, Ohio and then returned to Oklahoma and lived in Clinton where he operated The Garage Sale Store. He made a "pit stop" in Elk City before moving to Sayre, Oklahoma where he met Debra White and they were married on June 21, 2014, remaining in Sayre to make their home. Butch was a believer in the Lord who had a gentle, precious soul and was quick to help everyone. He loved life itself and also loved to fish almost as much as he loved to treasure hunt. He also enjoyed shooting and teaching others how to shoot. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Nash, of the home; his children, Christopher Nash, Toledo, OH, Daniel Nash, Detroit, MI, Matthew Nash and wife, Jamie, Oklahoma City, OK, Lydia Nash, Kansas, William Hough and wife, Jordan, Sayre, OK and Renee O'Neal and husband, Mark, Sayre, OK; 2 grandchildren, Morgan and Nikolas O'Neal, 2 brothers, James "Jim" Nash, Altus, OK and Roger "Bill" Nash, Arlington, TX; 1 sister, Renate Marie Wright, Hobart, OK; a brother by heart, Billy Neil Robbins, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held March 6, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Rose Chapel officiated by Jimmy Blanken. Burial will be at the Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel
