Stella Ferguson; age 76 of Hobart, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City.

Stella Lou White was born January 26, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN, 1 of 8 children born to John Fowler White and Orpha Belle White. She was raised primarily in Indiana. At the age of 16 Stella was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in 1955. On September 30, 1957, she married the love of her life William Harold Ferguson Sr. in Indianapolis, IN. They made their home in and around Paragon, Martinsville and Morgantown Indiana. To this union was born 4 children, Bill Jr., John, Darla and Jamie. In 1971 they moved to El Paso, TX and lived there several years before moving to Hobart, Oklahoma in 1977. Stella known affectionately as "Granny" was a mother to many. Her greatest joy was to be a housewife and mother. Through her work as a Foster Mother, she cared and nurtured for, and claimed many children as her own.

Stella was also a Mary Kay consultant for many years, and worked alongside Bill Sr. in his interior decorating company. She was wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a true friend. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband: William "Bill" Ferguson Sr. Her parents: John and Orpha White Sisters: Ruby Langley and Francis Tharpe Brother: John White Jr. Great grandson: Rhett William Ferguson.

Stella leaves behind: Her daughter: Darla Chandler and husband Lynn of Okc Her sons: Bill Ferguson Jr and his wife Sonja of Okc John Ferguson and wife Tracy of Hobart, Ok Jamie Ferguson and wife Crystal of Tuttle,Ok Sisters: Mary Slusher and husband Jim of Paoli, IN Darlene Stout and husband Dwight of Orleans, IN Brothers: Bill White and wife Audra of Sulphur, Ok Howard White and wife Nina of Orleans, IN 14 Grandchildren: Wesley, Dylan, Ashleigh, Travis, Courtney, Jennifer, Mark, Justin, Danielle, Shae, Jenn, Brooklyn, Caiti and Kassi 8 Great grandchildren: Paden, Hunter, Liam, Ayden, Collyns, Brynn, Heidi and Grady 2 Great Neices: Aleshia Lund and Leslie Anne Stoliby.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 23, 2015 at Newcastle Church of the Firstborn. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart.
