DIED OF PNEUMONIA Mrs. Frances Avant Succumbed at Lawton, Sunday
Mrs. Frances Avant, wife of Thomas H. Avant of Lawton, and daughter of Mrs. Laura Brown, of this city, died Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at Lawton, after a 2 days illness with pneumonia.
Only a few days ago Mrs. Avant and her two babies left Hobart to go to Lawton, where she was to establish their home.
She was 30 years old March 5, 1918, and is survived by her husband, two children, Laura Belle 1 year and 4 months old, and Francis Marie, 2 years and 4 months old; her mother, Mrs. Laura Brown; Mrs. C.G. Kieger, sister, and Mrs. Carl Brown brother, student in the state university at Norman.
Monday, the body accompanied by the bereaved relatives was brought to Hobart, and tomorrow funeral services will be held at 2:30 from the First M.E. Church, Rev. Robinson, officiating. Burial will be made in the Hobart Cemetery.
Deceased was well-known in Hobart, have been practically reared here, attending the pubic schools, and for years was employed in the offices od Drs. Bonham and Brennemen. She was a member of the Clinton M.E. Church, where the family formerly resided.
