Patricia Lou Reimer © Cheyenne Star Submitted by: Wanda Purcell Our beloved daughter, Patricia Lou Reimer, was born June 28, 1934 and passed on to a better life Tuesday morning at 10:30 January 26, 1937, at our home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
For two years, six months and twenty-eight days she was a warm ray of sunshine and the source of much enjoyment to all those that came in contact with her. She brought much joy into our home with her happy nature and her ever ready smiles.
About three days before her death she caught a cold which Monday, January twenty fifth developed into intestinal flu, and about ten o'clock Tuesday morning she awoke crying with pain, indicating she was suffering very much and in a few minutes went into a convulsion which at 10:30 that morning caused her death.
She has seemingly been more sick at various times in her life; but this time the Dear Master, said, "Come unto me, Dear Child". She answered the call and is now numbered among the Blessed where we have the comfort of knowing we shall meet her again.
Our hearts are wounded by her passing and she leaves a vacancy that no one can fill, but we have the assurance and the consolation that she is now in the Master's care.
Yes, Jesus has said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me."
She leaves to mourn her all-to-quick passing, her parents, Dr. and Mrs. George A. Reimer; a sister, Beverly Reimer; one grandmother; and a host of relatives and friends.
Burial in Gotebo cemetery.
