Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mae Adams are to be held at the First Baptist Church in Gotebo, Friday, January 2, 1970 at 2:00pm.

Ida Mae Maxwell was born on June 16, 1907 in Kiowa County, Oklahoma to Norman and Viola Maxwell and died December 28, 1969 at her home in Gotebo at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 12 days. She was married to Samuel M. McCurdy, September 15, 1924 and to this union nine children were born, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Gotebo, Mrs. Gracie Holt of Mangum, Mrs. Retha West of Edmond, Archie McCurdy of Ft. Supply, William P. McCurdy of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Geneva Mannon of Ft. Worth TX; Lawrence and Larry McCurdy of Midwest City and Darrell M. McCurdy of Kelly Field TX.

In 1938 she was married to James H. Adams of Rocky who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her nine children; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers; Paul Maxwell of Ft. Cobb and Hosie Maxwell of Vici; two sisters Mrs. Catherine Gosnell, Oklahoma City; ad Mrs. J.B. McElroy, Tucson AZ.
