Maxene Hagood, 61, longtime resident of southwest
Oklahoma, died Saturday at Norman Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Tims Chapel of Memories.
Burial will be
at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hagood, the daughter of the late Henry and Jessie Patterson, was born March
19, 1927. She was married to Findley Jones, and he died in1962. Her second
husband, Joe Hagood, died in 1972
Mrs. Hagood had been associated with Furrs Cafeteria for the past 13years and
had worked with Cattleman's Restaurant before that. She was a member of the
Baptist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Judy Hartman, Atlanta, Ga., and Jan Willis, Noble;
a son, Jim Jones, Norman; three sisters, Fern Hill, Headrick; Esther Jones,
Longview, Texas, and Velma Anderson, Lawton; two brothers, Floyd Patterson,
Snyder and Cecil Patterson, Alamogordo, NM; and four grandchildren, Tommy and
Michelle Hartman and Ryan and Caleta Willis.
A sister, Lela McKinley, died
before her.
MAXENE HAGOOD SERVICES HELD
Services for Maxene Hagood, 61, Altus, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the
Tims Chapel of Memories in Altus. She died May 14, 1988, at the Norman Regional
Hospital in Norman.
Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction
of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hagood was born March 19, 1927, to the late Henry and
Jessie Patterson, pioneer residents of Snyder.
For the past thirteen years, she had been associated with Furrs Cafeteria.
Before that, she worked for Cattlemen's. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Findley Jones, in 1962; her husband,
Joe Hagood, in 1972; and one sister, Lela McKinley.
Survivors are two daughters,

four grandchildren, Tommy and Michelle Hartman and Ryan and Caleta Willis.
