Edwin Earl “Buck” Chancellor was born September 16, 1908 to James and Laura Day Chancellor in Eolian, TX. Buck passed this life January 4, 2002 at the age of 93 in Ardmore.
Buck was laid to rest in Fairlawn Cemetery at Snyder, Oklahoma.
He married Mayme Hoover December 30, 1928 in Oklahoma City.
After the passing of Mayme he married Mary L. Kirkpatrick at Dimmitt, TX. He was retired from the Stauffer Chemical Plant in Trona, Ca. were he worked for 20 years. He was also a retired farmer and custom combiner and a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by Parents, the mother of his children - Mayme Chancellor, a twin sister, 2 brothers James and Cliff Chancellor and a granddaughter - Jeanna Loy Chancellor.
He is survived by his wife Mary L. Kirkpatrick of the home, 3 sons - Billy Chancellor and his wife Joyce of North Edwards, Ca., Jimmy Chancellor of Charleston, Ark. and Jerry Chancellor and his wife Charline of Ardmore. A daughter Betty Lou and her husband Don Wright of Inyokern, Ca. A sister Laura Bell Pilcher, Tenn. 5 Grandsons, Kent and his wife Lorri Chancellor of Lebanon, Oregon, Roy and his wife Angie of Conway, Ark., Robert and his wife Michelle of Charleston, Ark., Harold and wife Beverly of Springer, Ok. and Donald Wright of Inyokern, Ca., Granddaughters - Trenna Jo Willis of North Edwards, Ca., Sherri and Kevin Blancett of Dickson, Ok. Rhonda and Dennis Martin of Iowa; Coeta and Rick Dooley of Lavaca, Ark.; Charla Chancellor of Arkansas, and 18 Great Grandchildren.
