Mark was born to Ruelle and Almetrice (Morgan) Kinslow on February 15, 1965. Throughout Mark’s lifetime he contributed his time and energy as an active member of his community. He was a respected friend and affected many people in his lifetime. Mark was destined to be a Farmer even at a young age. He could be caught in a pair of overalls, following his father and grandfather around on the farm. At the age of 12, he learned more about the family farm by learning to operate the tractor, combine, and wheat trucks. Mark loved to ride the tractor and did not mind being on it hours at a time. Mark grew up and was Baptized at Wannamaker Baptist Church. He attended Dover Public Schools from kindergarten until the time he graduated in 1983. During that time, Mark participated in 4-H, FFA, and basketball and served in various leadership roles. After high school, Mark took a few years off from his education before graduating with a degree in Diesel Mechanics at OSU-Okmulgee in 1992. In 1998, Mark moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue his career. He was employed by Buckley Air Force Base and furthered his education with a degree in welding. Mark’s knowledge allowed him the opportunity to open a welding business in 2014. In 2002, Mark married Karen Moss and devoted his life being a supportive husband, father and grandfather. Mark resided in Colorado until returning to Dover in 2017 where he worked on the family farm until his homegoing.
Mark is survived by his wife Karen Kinslow; daughter Erica (Denver); son Jaalen (Denver); parents Ruelle & Almetrice (Dover); brother Ronald (Dover); sister Fachaitte (Oklahoma City); one granddaughter Lillie (Denver); two grandsons Ben and Eric (Denver).
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Mabel Kinslow; maternal grandparents Thurman and Susie Morgan.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 am at the Wannamaker Cemetery located east of Dover. The family has asked that everyone wear a mask.
