ENID — The funeral service for Verlyn Dale "Bud" Harding, 75, of Waukomis , will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Davis Park Christian Church. Rev. Alan Seibel will officiate.
Burial will be in New Home Cemetery , Loyal, Okla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bud was born in a dugout in Lookout, Okla., on May 10, 1935, to Charles Martin Harding Sr. and Gladys Fern Hoskins and died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in Enid. He was a graduate of Alva High School in 1954. He married Gerry Grinstead on March 16, 1962. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a welder and after retiring he was the janitor at Waller Junior High School. He was a member of Davis Park Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gerry, of the home; son, Randy Harding and wife Alycia of Alva, Okla.; daughters, Sherry Sheets and husband David of Waukomis , Okla., and Susan Harding of Waukomis ; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Harding of Cherokee, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frances Eugene Harding and Charles Martin Harding Jr.
Memorials may be made to Davis Park Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

14 October 2020WAUKOMIS - Funeral services for Geraldine Harding, 80, of Waukomis, will be Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, at 1 p.m., Waukomis Christian Church.
Burial in New Home Cemetery, Loyal. Visitation Sunday, 6 to 7 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

(permission granted)Funeral service for Geraldine Harding, 80 of Waukomis, will be Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Waukomis Christian Church with Rev. Dave Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Loyal Oklahoma.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Geraldine married Verlyn Dale “Bud” Harding on March 16, 1962 in Canton, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurses aid at several nursing homes. Geraldine was a member of the Waukomis Christian Church and thought the world of Paster Dave and Linda. She loved to eat KFC and drink root beer. She was a member of the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribe. Geraldine always talked about her grandkids and great grandkids and was extremely proud of all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud, sister Sharon Roach, granddaughter Aryka, and her brother Gerald.
Geraldine is survived by her children Randy and wife Alycia Harding, Sherry and husband David Sheets, and Susan Harding; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her sister Joan Murray.
Memorial may be made through Anderson-Burris to Waukomis Christian Church.
