The home-going service for Mr. Arthur L. Almanzar, 26, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, in Kingfisher First Baptist Church. Pastor Wendell Prim will officiate.
Burial will follow in Morrison Cemetery in Lacy, Oklahoma, under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
A wake will be 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, August 10, in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel.
Arthur was born September 10, 1985, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to Martin and Crisella James Holmes and passed away July 31, 2012. He moved to Yukon after high school. He moved to Enid in 2009, where he worked with the mentally handicapped in a group home.
He is survived by his mother, Crisella,
and stepfather, Henry Holmes, of Kingfisher; father, Martin Almanzar,
and stepmother, Ana; brothers, Vernon James of Portland, Oregon, and
Henry Holmes Jr. of Kingfisher; sisters, Chelsey Holmes of
Stillwater, Lexie Holmes of Norman and Mackenzie Holmes of
Kingfisher; stepbrothers, Marcus Almanzar of El Reno, Martin Jr.
Almanzar of Wellington, Texas, and Nita Almanzar of Mexico; aunts,
Lovie James and Betty and Jozt Dawson; uncle, Charles Stone; and
grandmother, Julia Holmes of Dover.
He was preceded in death by his
grandfather, cousin and grandmother.
