Oklahoma City – The funeral for Ephraim A. Williams, 95, will be at 2 PM
Wednesday at Cordry – Sisson Funeral Home, Hennessey. The Rev. Clarence Herrin
will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lyon Valley Cemetery, 5 miles east and 1
mile north of Hennessey.
He was born June 25, 1898, in Kearney, Missouri, to James and Nancy Guffy
Williams and died Monday, October 11, 1993, at Southwest Medical Center,
Oklahoma City. He had moved with his parents to Bird City, Kansas, and later as
a young man moved to Hennessey where he lived until 1984. At that time, he moved
to Oklahoma City. He had farmed east of Hennessey until his retirement, and was
a member of Gritz Acres Christian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Margie Williams of Oklahoma City; one niece and two
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel, three sisters and two brothers.
