Funeral services for Dale Wehling, 82, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Daryl Moore, Dan O’Daniel and Duane Roever will officiate. Burial will follow in Lyon Valley Cemetery, Hennessey. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

Dale was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Bison to Carl and Rena Cline Wehling and passed away at The Commons in Enid, Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.

Dale attended Pioneer School. On July 29, 1943, he married the former Agnes Pipla. The couple farmed and ranched on family land established in the Cherokee Strip Land Run east of Bison.

Dale was a member of Union Chapel Church, Hennessey. He served on the boards of Pioneer School, Bison Co-op and ASC County Committee.

Dale is survived by three daughters, Glenda Cass and her husband Ron of Enid, Joyce Benkendorf and her husband Carl of Waukomis, and Sandy Pettus and her husband Pat of Lahoma; one sister, Loucien Anderson of Waukomis; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife Agnes, an infant daughter, one sister and seven brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or Union Chapel Church.

Our friend and mother went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2000 in her home.  Agnes was a true example of courage and strength.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends and at any time her kitchen was always open.  Agnes will be remembered for her loving smile and sense of humor. 

Funeral services for Agnes T. Wehling , age 79 of Bison, will be Tuesday, 10:00 am, September 26, 2000 at Henninger Allen Funeral Home. Immediately following the service will be a graveside service at Lyon Valley Cemetery by Union Chapel. 

Agnes was born June 1, 1921.  Daughter of Albert J. Pipla and Mary Pipla.  She married Dale Wehling July 29, 1943. She was a loving wife and homemaker and shared in farming operations with her husband for 57 years.  She was born, raised and lived her entire life in the Bison community. 

Memories remain with her husband Dale, of the home, her three daughters and family, Glenda and Ron Cass, Enid, Joyce and Carl Benkendorf, Waukomis, Sandy and Pat Pettus, Lahoma.  Her sisters Mary Wehling and Emma Navratil,  Her 9 grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and one daughter, Norma Jo.

Memorials may be made to Union Chapel Church or the American Heart and Lung Assoc.
