A memorial service for Frederick Earl Hawk, 57, will be 11 a.m. today at Union Chapel Church. The Rev. Clarence Herrin Jr. will officiate.

Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Lyon Valley Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

He was born Feb. 11, 1950, in McAlester to Earl and Ada Opal Herrin Hawk and died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Carl Albert Hospital, Ada. He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1969. He served with the Marine Corps in Vietnam.

Surviving are one son, Lonnie Hawk of Shawnee and one brother, James Hawk of Chandler. He was preceded in death by his parents.
