15 Jan 1903 Thursday

Isaac Brown, living twelve miles northwest of the city, died at the family residence at 9:30 Friday morning, of heart failure.  

Deceased was sixty-six years of age.  

The day before his death, he was up and at work.  He had been a blacksmith.  

He served in the Union Army, going in Company I, 13th Michigan Infantry.  

The remains were laid at rest  in the Harmony Cemetery.
