She was born Oct. 26, 1919, southwest of King-fisher to
William Thomas and Josephine Baker Trindle and died Wednesday, Oct.
8, 2008, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital, King-fisher.
She graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1937. She
attended Draughon's Business College, Oklahoma City. She worked as
a legal secretary in Oklahoma City then received an appointment and
worked in J. Edgar Hoover's office in the Federal Bureau of
Investigation in Washing-ton, D.C. She returned to Oklahoma and
married Corwin Lavern Trosper Nov. 3, 1941, in Oklahoma City. They
made their home near Huntoon,
Texas. In 1946, they farmed southwest of Eads, Colo., then moved
northwest of Higgins, Texas, in 1951. He died Oct. 17, 1987. She
moved back to Kingfisher in 1989. She was a member of Eastern Star,
Texas Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Kingfisher
Senior Citizens, United Methodist Women, Wheatheart Nutrition,
Higgins Home Demonstra-tion
Club and was a Lipscomb County, Texas, 4-H leader.
Surviving are two sons, Bill Trosper of Eads, Colo., and Ray
Trosper of Sidney, Texas; one sister, Ruth McCully of Kingfisher;
one brother, John Trindle of Spearman, Texas; seven grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Corwin, she was preceded in
death by one brother.
