The Celebration of Life for Joan Carol Saint, 78, Enid, formerly of Hennessey, will be at 2 p.m. Fri., Aug. 26, 2016 at the United Methodist Church of Hennessey. Pastor Jimmy Berkenbile will officiate.

Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Joan was born Oct. 18, 1937 in Denver, Colo. to Lloyd and Myrtle Britigan and died Aug. 19, 2016 in Enid. She graduated in 1955 from Denver High School. The family moved to Beaver, Kan., where she met and married Clifton A. Saint Jr. They moved to Hennessey in 1965. Joan graduated from Phillips University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She taught English for more than 20 years before retiring. Joan devoted herself to her teaching. She enjoyed travel, photography, sewing, painting, grandkids and writing. She enjoyed traveling, participating in the United Methodist Church, FOB. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a sister, Lenny Armstrong; a brother, Kenny Britigan and his wife Richelle. Her two daughters, Sandra Adasiak, and Laura J. McCormick and husband, Bill; son, Clif A. Saint III and his wife, Michelle; stepdaughter, Lisa Gregory; grandchildren: Stacia Dunkin and husband, Jerame, Colby Adasiak and wife Paige, Colin, Lucas and Christian McCormick, Meagan, Ian, Stephen and Johnathan Saint, and great-grandchildren, Addyson, Brayden and Chaylen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Clifton Saint; three siblings, Michael Britigan, Marlys Salo, and Norman Britigan, and brother-in-laws: Don Armstrong and Jack Salo.

Memorials may be made to American Transplant Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be sent to www.ladusauevans.com.
