The funeral for Hayden Jay “Buster” Ryel, 20, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Hennessey High School Auditorium officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
 

Hayden was born in Enid on July 1, 2004, and died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, in Marshall, Ill.

Hayden graduated from Hennessey High School and was employed by Thurmond. He was a proud member of the Dover Volunteer Fire Department, always feeling the need to help his community.

He had a big heart and put his all into everything he did.

He enjoyed hunting geese and making people laugh. He loved going to the mud bogs with his family and just living life to the fullest.

Hayden was a head strong individual.

He bought his pickup- truck, setting a mission to become TikTok famous and was on his way. Hayden was always customizing his truck, taking it to truck shows and making TikTok videos.

Oh man, did Hayden love pancakes!


He is survived by his mothers Molly Ryel and Stephanie Pollard; grandmother Diana Gray; grandfather Glen Ryel and wife Kim; great-grandmother Carole Shepard; grandfather Steve Pollard; aunts and uncles Shauna and Robbie Gray, Jesse and Adrian Ryel, Jake and Krista Ryel, Seth and Taelyn Gray, Wyatt Gray, Hannah and Austin Simunek, Michelle Schartz, Shelly Lavelle, Stephanie and Roger Straka, Jerry and Kari Gray, Catherine and Matthew Pierce, Tiffany Tillman, Heather Pollard and D-Man, Lance and Misti Pendergraft, Brent Hajek and Rhonda Wilson; and many beloved cousins, family and friends.


Hayden was preceded in death by “Pops” Melvin Gray and “Nana” Sharon Pollard.
 

Hayden will forever be in our hearts. LONG LIVE HAYDEN RYEL “LLHR” Memorial donations may be made in his name to Dover Volunteer Fire Department with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
