Services for Richard Murray, 86 will be at 11:00 AM Friday May 28, 2021 at Hennessey Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Kevin Choate. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Richard was born in Enid on August 15, 1934 to Paul W. and Manila Burke Murray and died Sunday May 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa. He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1952 and attended Oklahoma A&M College. Richard was married to Coralen Marshall for twenty-two years and to this union one daughter Sarah was born.  Sarah’s husband is Rod Kretchmar & son is Craig Eckstein.  

Richard is also survived by his wife Sue Stalker Murray whom he married on February 7, 1981, Sue’s two daughters Renee Reece of Enid and her daughter Lauren; Leslie Mackey and husband Brent of Bixby and their son Dillon.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Evelyn Shimanek, Carol Johnson, and one brother Robert J. Murray.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Hospice at St. Francis Hospital South with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
