Funeral for June Moery, 93, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at First
Christian Church, officiated by the Rev. Mickey Moery and Kris Logsdon.
Burial
will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral
Home. There will be visitation with the family from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug.
8, at the funeral home.

Awana June Moery was born June 16, 1921, in Kingfisher County, Okla., to Guy and Sadie Moore Nelson. She grew up in the Lacey Community and graduated from Lacey High School in 1938. June married Mack Moery on Sept. 11, 1940. To this marriage seven daughters were born. Mack and June farmed in the Hennessey area until Mack passed away in 1971. June later lived in Alva, Okla., Springfield, Colo., and Edmond, Okla., before moving to Sayre, Okla., in 2009.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Mack, and two
daughters, Marylin Shiplett and Macky Moery.
She is survived by five daughters,
Bob and Kathy Dvorak, Longmont, Colo., Rex and Betty Hardiman, Edmond Okla.,
Louise Newell, Connerville, Okla., Curtis and Jo Miller, Sayre, Okla., and Don
and Phyllis Williams, Mooreland, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters. The seven daughters
have resulted in approximately 77 family members, including the spouses for the
children and grandchildren.
