The funeral for Elaine Lee, 89 will be at 10:00 AM Thursday May 5, 2022 at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed at Elaine's request.

Elaine was born southeast of Hennessey on May 22, 1932 to Perry and Esther Rhoades Clements and died Monday May 2, 2022 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Enid.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Elaine is survived by three sons Roger Lee, Mike Lee and wife Debby, David Lee and wife Brenda; one daughter Lisa Crow and husband Robert, all of Enid; five grandchildren Lindsay Staerkel, Megan Daniels, Matthew Lee, Cody Lee, Abby Lee; five great grandchildren Brock Daniels, Emery Daniels, Cooper Lee, Quinn Staerkel, Claire Staerkel; one sister Janice Dodd and husband Grady of Edmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne Lee, five sisters Lila Clements, Lois Brown, Dorothy Henderson, Betty Gordon, Gladys Oswald, and two brothers Mervin Clements and Charles Clements.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to United Methodist Women with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.

Funeral for Wayne Lee, 82, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Jim Hill.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Wayne was born in Drummond, Okla., on Jan. 21, 1932, to Dan and Edna Freeman Lee and died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla.

Wayne married Elaine Clements in Hennessey on June 27, 1952. 

He served with the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. Wayne was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine of the home; three sons, Roger Lee of Hennessey, Mike Lee and wife Debby, and David Lee and wife Brenda; daughter, Lisa Crow and husband Rob; five grandchildren, Lindsay Crow, Megan Daniels, Matthew, Cody and Abby Lee, all of Enid.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wilbur Lee.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to First United Methodist Church, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds. (Submitted by family)
