The funeral for Pauline L. Kelly, 89, Hennessey, will be at 2:00
PM Mon., Feb. 22, 2016 at Dover Christian Church officiated by Rev. Fred Jones,
Rev. Gene Spillman and Rev. Ronnie Hopkins. Burial will follow at Hennessey
Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Pauline was born at Reeding on September 7, 1926 to Carl and Hulda Haffner
Prickett and died Thursday February 18, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center.
She married Hulin "Hap" Kelly in Hennessey on September 11, 1949. Pauline worked
at the U. S. Post office in Hennessey for many years as a route carrier and
counter clerk. She was a member of the Dover Christian Church, Royal Neighbors,
Surprise HCE, Sons and Daughters of the 89'ers and the American Legion
Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter Shirley Koons and husband Dave of Hennessey; one
son Jack Kelly and wife Joyce of Fairview; five grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hap, one sister and
one great-grandson.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Dover Christian Church or
Son's and Daughters of the 89'ers with the funeral home serving as custodian of
the fund.
