The funeral for Glenn Henry “Hank” Huntsberger, 70 will be at 10:30 AM Friday July 19, 2024 at First Christian Church officiated by Rev. Ish Engle.
Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Hank was born in Kingfisher on July 4, 1954 to Glenn, Jr. and Frances Johnson Huntsberger and died Tuesday July 16, 2024 at his home in Hennessey. He was a member of First Christian Church. He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1972 and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Oklahoma State University. Hank married Rita Gay Ricketts in Canadian, Texas on November 12, 1987. He was a rural mail carrier until he retired.
He is survived by his wife Rita of the home; one son Heath Huntsberger and wife Paula of Hennessey, two step-daughters Monica Gamble of Enid, Marci Ward and husband James of Moore; one sister Juanita Henderson of Hennessey, three brothers Jim Huntsberger and wife Sabra of Yukon, Steve Huntsberger and wife Sherri, Rodger Huntsberger and wife Wanda, all of Hennessey; grandson Connor Strickland of the home; nine grandchildren Mika, Mitchell, Angel, Cobe, Jaxyn, Jadyn, Destiny, Gabe, Kyley, and seven great-grandchildren.
Hank was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Jenny Fondren.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the First Christian Church with
the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
