Hennessey – Funeral services for Jill (Athey) Higgins, 49, who died at her home in Enid Monday evening, will be at 10:30 AM Friday in the United Methodist Church at Hennessey with the Rev. Glen R. Rowley as the officiating minister.

Mrs. Higgins will be buried in the Hennessey Cemetery, with the Cordry and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Her body will lie in state in the church for an hour before service time and the casket will not be opened afterward.

Mrs. Higgins was born in Enid and attended schools here and in Tulsa, graduating from Enid high school. She attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of Delta Gamma sorority.

Mrs. Higgins was also a member of the Junior Welfare League and the PEO.

She is survived by her husband Robert W. Higgins; three daughters, Mrs. Ricky (Ginger) Cain of Hennessey, Mrs. Curtis (Cindra) Albert, Elk City and Ruthie Freeman, Enid; two sons, Trip Moore of Québec, Canada and Robert Freeman, Enid; her mother, Mrs. Virginia Riddle of Hennessey; a brother, Robert Riddle and a sister, Jean Athey Brown, Glenwood Springs, Colorado; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, her father and step father.
