The funeral for Gordon "Don" Bolen George, 90, will be at 1:00 PM Thursday July 23, 2020, at First Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Don was born in Ada on December 3, 1929, to Joseph Alonzo and Icy Mae Evans George and died Monday July 20, 2020, at his home in Hennessey.

He married Irene Cochran in Coweta on July 18, 1953.

Don was a member of the Hennessey Powder and String club and managed the trap shoot there for a number of years.

Don is survived by his wife Irene of the home; one daughter Patty Corsini of Tulsa; two grandsons Barrett Corsini and wife Lindsey of Bixby, Tanner Corsini and wife Katie of Eufaula; four great-grandchildren Tessa, Kallen, Collins, Jax; one sister Mary Ann Harris and husband John of Houston, Texas.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Joseph Alonzo George, Jr.

Memorial donatons may be made in his name to Accentra Health and Hospice or Hennessey Cemetery with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
