Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel F. Fuksa. 72 will be at 10:00 AM Monday February 22, 2021 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Ed Menasco.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Daniel was born in Enid on March 26, 1948 to Frank A. and Adeline A. Linhart Fuksa and died in Enid Tuesday February 16, 2021. 

Daniel graduated from Hennessey High School in 1966. He married Jeanette LaPorte in Hennessey on January 21, 1967. 

Daniel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

 
He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. 

Daniel farmed for many years and worked at Pioneer Trucking, and Seaboard/PIC. 


Daniel is survived by one son Jeremy N. Fuksa and wife Robin of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter Erin B. Miller and husband Randal of Sturgis, Mississippi; two grandchildren Nathan and Hayden Fuksa and Emmi and Hutch Miller; and one sister Denice Fuksa of Oklahoma City. 


He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette in 2018 and both parents. 


Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Circle of Love with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
