Graveside services for Kathleen Choate Curran, 79, Bethany, will be at 1:00 PM Friday April 8, 2016 at Hennessey Cemetery officiated by Rev. Chris Gordon . Cremation arrangements are Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Kathleen was born at Hennessey on June 14, 1936 to Roy and Sylvia Thompson Choate and died Friday April 1, 2016 at her home in Bethany.

She graduated from Lacy High School and earned her Bachelors Degree at Central State University. She was a member of the Treble Clefs, Oklahoma County Extension, was a volunteer for Christian Connection and was an election board volunteer.

Kathleen is survived by one son Tim Curran and wife Robin of Moore; one daughter Theresa Curran of Yukon; two grandchildren Amanda Sykes and husband Brent of Norman, Samantha Curran of Moore; four great-grandchildren Paige, Elanor, Josephine and Lincoln Sykes; and one brother Garland Choate and wife Judy of Hennessey.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Roy Choate, Jr.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
