Graveside services for Donald E.
Brockman, 70, will be Saturday at 10 AM in the
Hennessey Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Arbogast
officiating. Arrangements are under the
direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Don
was born March 5, 1930 near Jet to George W. and
Rose Severin Brockman and passed away at the
University Nursing Center, Wednesday, June 14,
2000.
Don attended school at Jet and Bison. On January
19, 1950 he married Clara Johnson in Newkirk.
The couple made their first home in Medford
later moving to Enid. Mr. Brockman worked as a
truck driver and line man for OG & E for over 38
years.
Don was a member of the First Christian Church
of Hennessey, Moose Lodge No. 1740 of Enid, OG &
E Pioneer Club, #1 Oklahoma Polka Club, Lodge
Oak, Oklahonasky Rolnick #89.
Don loved music and dancing, he enjoyed golf,
hunting and fishing. His hobby was small engine
repair
Mr. Brockman is survived by his wife, Clara of
the home; two daughters, Donna Hittle and her
husband, John and children, Jason and Jennifer
all of Dallas, Texas, Diann Nelson and her
husband, Syd and daughter, Candice all of
Ringwood; two sisters, Reta Milligan of
Niceville, Florida, Monica Stinnett of North
Enid; two brothers, Dave Brockman of Yukon,
George Brockman Jr. of Hemphill, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one
sister.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love
or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart
division with Henninger – Allen Funeral Home
acting as custodian of the fund.
