Paula was born in Enid on November 27, 1950, to Clarence and Nadine Clark Bradfield and died Friday April 28, 2023, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in End. Paula graduated from Hennessey High School in 1969 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in music from Phillips University. Paula was an accomplished pianist. She began studying piano with Frances Carmer of Hennessey in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, she then began Evelyn Seem of Enid. She continued her piano studies with Evelyn, her Freshman year at Phillips. She then switched to Jon Nelson during her Sophomore year. In her Junior year Paula was won over by Morris Poaster, also at Phillips University, and changed her major from piano to voice. Paula had a beautiful voice and gave an excellent senior recital. Paula was gifted in many areas and served as an accompanist for several other students preparing for their senior recitals. She was also in various plays and musicals while at Phillips. Paula was well thought of by her professors and loved by her many friends. She later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she resided for a number of years. Paula was a member of Country Club United Methodist Church in Kansas City. She worked for Time-Warner in broadcast television as an executive secretary until her retirement. Paula moved back to Enid in 2021.
Paula is survived by two brothers Charles Bradfield and wife Ann of Hennessey, and Mark Bradfield of Okarche.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, and her stepmother Jimalou Bradfield
