A Memorial service for Jerry Don Babb, 62, Hennessey, was at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, at First United Methodist Church, Hennessey. Lanny Jobe officiated.
Burial of cremains was in Hennessey Cemetery under direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Jerry died Friday, August 11, 2006 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, OK City.
He was born May 9, 1944 to W A & Frances Jones Babb in Phoenix, Ariz.
Jerry maried Dee Dimple August 2, 1965, in Seminole. They moved to
Hennessey in 1969. He worked at Continental-Emsco & Gulberson before
starting his own business, Triple B Pump & Supply in 1981.
He was preceded in death by his father & one brother.
Surviving are his wife, Dee of the home' 3 sons, David & wife Liane of Phoenix,
Ariz., Bryce of Crescent & Brad of Guthrie; one daughter, Bridgette Morris &
husband Jeff of Hennessey; his mother, Frances Babb of Davis; 4 sisters, Caroly
Williams & Virginia Weaver, both of Davis, Pat White of McCloud & Gayla Palmer
of Seminole; 5 borthers, Dale, Gary & Marty all of Ada, James of Seminole &
Keith of Springer.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hennessey Booster Club for underprivileged children in sports.
