Graveside services for Erma Lee Yarbrough,
81, of Dover, will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Dover Cemetery,
officiated by Allen Dalton. Funeral arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral
Home, Hennessey.
Erma was born in Edmond on July 5, 1942, to Ellsworth Cleveland and Mary
Louise Unger Paine, the youngest of seven children, and died Sunday, June 9,
2024, at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.
She married Clois Yarbrough in Bethany on March 23, 1963. She was a former
member of the 4-H Club and the Baptist Women’s Boys Town Quilters. Erma
managed Dale’s Quick Stop in Dover for many years.
Erma is survived by her husband Clois, who lives at home; one son, Dale
Glenn Yarbrough, of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Sonya McGee, and husband
Mike, of Hennessey; three grandchildren, Levi McGee and wife Gretchen, Amber
McGee, and Mason McGee; one great-grandson, Jack McGee; one sister-in-law,
Darla Paine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ileta Hillerby; five
brothers, Herman Eugene Paine, Herbert Floyd Paine, Howard Leroy Paine,
Harold Wayne Paine, Sr., E. C. “Junior” Paine, Jr., two nephews, Daryle
“Dusty” Paine, Harold Wayne Paine, Jr., and one niece Sandy Paine.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
