Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Myrtle Roberts, 56, who died in an Enid hospital Monday, August 31, 1942, were held in the Nazarene church in Hennessey, Tuesday morning. Interment was made in cemetery at Dover. The deceased had made her home in Hennessey for a number of years.

Mrs. Alice Myrtle Nichols was born December 1, 1885, and passed away August 31, 1942, at the age of 56 years and nine months.

She was united in marriage in 1908 to Wesley H. Elliott. One son was born to their union.

In 1914 she was married to Edward H. Roberts. To this union six children were born, four of whom died in infancy.

She leaves to mourn her passing three children: Ted Elliott, of Hennessey; Harry Roberts, of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Fern McCauley, of Dover; and two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Minnie Hansen of Hennessey; Mrs. Stella Morris, of Dover; Mr. Oscar Nichols, of Enid, and Mr. A. D. Nichols, of Long Beach, California; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was converted three years ago and left her testimony that she was ready to go.
