The funeral for Opal K. Wall, 85, of Loyal, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at Evangelistic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Leon Seaton and Jacob Kleckner will officiate.

Burial will be in Cimarron Valley Cemetery, Lacy. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Boyd to John P. and Anna L. Roberts McCartney and died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Shamrock Care Center, Kingfisher. She married Fred Dewitt Wall Dec. 28, 1943, in Omega. She was a member of Evangelistic Church, Loyal.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Lewis Wall of Enid, Ernest Daniel Wall of Dover and Robert Loe Wall of Calhan, Colo.; three daughters, Freda Faulkner of Loyal, Naomi Meade and Anita Richards, both of Dover; two brothers, Melvin McCartney of Bison and Chancy McCartney of Longdale; three sisters, Olive Shroeder of Texas, Ollie Julius of Kentucky, Bessie Kersey of Dover; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, two sons, one grandson, one great-grandson and nine brothers and sisters.
