Celebration of life for James Dorsey “Jim” Hill, Age 77, will be Monday, July 11, at 10 a.m. in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Len Coulter officiating. Burial will follow in Cimarron Valley Cemetery, Lacey. Born in Enid, Oklahoma July 9, 1938 to Elmer Ellsworth and Marjorie Madeline (Sturgeon) Hill, Jim spent most of his youth around Ames, Oklahoma and moved to Enid in 1961. James Dorsey married Hazel Fern Randolph in September 1958 and together have two deeply loved children Greg and Lisa. He was Service Manager for Dean Pearson Dodge for many years, then sold Insurance for Farm Bureau. One of Jim’s greatest passions was his natural ability to play the guitar and sing beautiful country music. He played for many years starting out with life-long best friend, Dennis Doughty, then the Ridgerunners, led by Ray Coulter and more recently Country Pride, with his dear friend, Herschel Timm, up until he entered Heaven’s Gate on July 6th, 2016. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and his middle brother Earl Douglas "Doug" Hill.

He leaves behind his companion in Life and Love Vivian Bunch, youngest Brother-Steve and wife Lenita, two Nephews, Christopher and wife Mindy, Sean and wife Rachele, Beloved Son-Gregory Allen Hill and wife Rhonda, Daughter-Lisa Michelle James and husband Jack, Grandchildren-Kaitlin Taylor Bacon, Husband Joel and Great Granddaughter, Dakota Rae and Grandson, Gregory James Elden Hill and a host of friends.

Jim will be greatly missed but we know that Heaven’s music just got a true Angel!

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
