Lula (Gratner)
Brawner
Sep 17, 1920 - Apr 23, 2018
Posted by Jo Aguirre
As a reflection back, Lula was born September 17, 1920 to Darious Demetrious Gratner and Jessie Rainbolt at home in Kingfisher County near Lacey, Oklahoma and transitioned from this life on April 23, 2018 in Weatherford Texas.
Lula would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, gardening and tending to her furry friends. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. She left instructions for her children, and grand-children to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
She is survived by one daughter, Lavonne Moore, of Texas; two sons, David Brawner, of Kansas, and Ronnie Brawner, of Enid; two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Brawner; one daughter Jessie Brawner; and one son Leroy Brawner.
