The funeral for Nora Beebe, 64, of Hennessey will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Hennessey. The Rev. Robin Thompson Goggs will officiate. Burial will be in Cimarron Cemetery, Lacey. Arrange-ments are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born May 28, 1943, northeast of Dover, to O.V. and Bonnie Griffith Roberts, and died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007.
She married John Beebe June 9, 1959, in Hennessey. She worked with her husband in their pick up hay crew business before working at Hennessey Livestock Co., where she retired after 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hennessey, Mother Daughter Book Club and a song leader, teacher and prayer leader for Holy Gospel Light Ministries since 1972.
Surviving are her husband, John Beebe, of the home; one son, David W. Beebe of Hennessey; one daughter, Audry Beebe of Hennessey; one sister, Fay Thomas of Fairland; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Holy Gospel Light Ministries Lung Cancer Foundation.
