The funeral for Mary Ellen Albright, 76 who died Monday evening at a Enid Hospital, will be at 2:30 p. m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church at Hennessey. The Rev. Danny Marney and Marvin Goodpasture will officiate. Burial will be in the Cimarron Valley Cemetery under the direction of Cordray and Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Albright was born May 15, 1909, on a farm near Hennessey, to Madison Lenard and Amanda Canter Goodpasture. She attended school at Lacy and Hennessey and spent most of her life in that area. On Aug. 18, 1928, she married James K. "Jim" Albright in Enid. They made their home on a farm west of Hennessey until a few years ago when them moved to Hennessey.
Survivors include her husband Jim, three brothers, Dal, Glen and Leland; and two sisters, Celia McGinnis and Myrtle Milton.
She was preceded in death by three brothers,Vernia, Charles and John and one sister, Minnie Norris.

Hennessey – services for James. A. Albright, 74, who died Thursday evening in an Enid hospital after a short illness, will be at 2 PM Monday in the First Baptist Church at Hennessey.
The Rev. Danny Marney and the Rev. Marvin Goodpasture will officiate. Burial will be in the Cimmaron Valley Cemetery by the Cordry and Son Funeral Home.
Albright was born near Ames on January 22, 1907, and grew up in the Ames – Lacey community, graduating from Lacey high school.
He and Mary Goodpasture were married August 18, 1928, in Enid. She preceded him in death in 1985.
Albright was a member of the Eden Baptist Church. He lived and farmed most of his life in the Lacey community until moving to Hennessey a few years ago.
Albright is survived by a sister, Maureen Sink of Springfield, Oregon, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Church or the Heart Association, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
