Linda Marie (Eakins) Harman

Linda Marie (Eakins) Harman, 84, of Cashion, was born Nov. 25, 1937, in Cashion to Clarence David and Blanche (Lunnon) Eakins.   She passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Cashion.
 

Linda graduated from Cashion High School in 1956 and was a forever Cashion Wildcat.

She was a lifelong member of the Cashion Christian Church and also a member of the Cashion Rebecca Lodge.  She married Warren Lee Harman on July 20, 1956, at Cashion Christian Church and they were approaching their 66th wedding anniversary. To this union, three children were born: David, Clayton and Lorra Jane.

Linda worked for Connie White of White Way Construction, Bill Argo Insurance, Hertz Corporation and Cashion Community Bank.

While she was employed at Cashion Community Bank, she wore many hats. She served as a VP cashier and a branch manager.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Blanche; her siblings, Ina Grace Eakins Beutler, Joan Eakins and Harold Eakins; and her daughter, Lorra Jane Harman.
 

Linda is survived by her husband, Warren of the home; her sons David Harman and wife Anna and Clayton Harman and wife Leah; grandchildren, Dana Marie Harman-Keith and Glen, Mary Eugenia Harman Whited and Colin, Matthew Franklin Harman and Benjamin Cole Harman; and her great-grandchildren, Raven Anais Keith and Sierra Rose Keith.

She is also survived by her sisters Margie Eakins Christy and Donna Kay Eakins Adams and husband Russell and many nieces, nephews and friends.
 

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Cashion Christian Church with burial following at Cashion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.


Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14, Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 N. 1st St., Guthrie.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Cashion Christian Church or Cashion Education Foundation and may be mailed to P.O. Box 297, Cashion, OK 73016.
