Clara Geraldine (DeBoard) Collett

The funeral for Clara Geraldine DeBoard Collett, 87, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Free Will Methodist Church, McPherson, Kan. Burial will be 4 p.m. in Cashion.

She was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Marshall to Jessie Paul and Sadie Johanna Weber DeBoard and died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Chrisman, Ill.

She graduated from Covington High School in 1938 and married George W. Collett Jr. May 26, 1938, in Covington. They made their home in Cashion until moving to Mc-Pherson.

Surviving are three sons, Johnny Dean Collett of Good-land, Kan., Gerald William Collett of Chrisman and Elvon Dwain Collett of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; one daughter, Coleta Jane Collett of McPherson; one brother, Robert DeBoard of Allen, Texas; two sisters, Virginia Braley of Casper, Wyo., and JoAnn Touchstone of Enid; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters and one brother.
