Clois C. Cobb was born to William and Bessie Cobb on August 29, 1916, in Lockridge, Oklahoma. He graduated from Cashion High School, and farmed in the Cashion area until 1948.
He married Ola Thorp on May 16, 1937, in Cashion, Oklahoma. Five children were born from this union: Dr. Kenneth Cobb of Wentzville, MO, Mrs. Phillis Pedigo of Tonkawa, OK, Mrs. Jackie Sue Turton of Powhotan, VA, Mr. Neal Cobb (deceased), Rev. Bill Cobb of Bethany, OK. There are 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Clois and Ola moved to Ponca City, OK in 1948, and returned to Cashion in 1974. They moved to their current home in Oklahoma City in 1993.
Clois was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Juanita; and his
son, Neal.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tues. Oct. 10, 2000, at Cathedral of Praise at
Council and Wilshire with interment in Cashion Cemetery.
