Mass of Christian burial for Willard Louis Vculek, 68, Edmond, formerly of Hennessey will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hennessey. The Rev. Roberto Quant will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1938, near Hennessey to Louis and Mary Patocka Vculek and died Friday, July 7, 2006, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.

He graduated from Hennessey High School and served in the Army from 1960 to 1962. He worked at Farmers’ Co-op, Watson’s Hatchery and Easy Stop Grocery in Hennessey and at Homeland Grocery in Edmond.

He married Evelyn Bailey April 21, 2000, in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn, of the home; one daughter, Kristina Vculek of the home; three stepchildren, April Ganeros, Clinton Dean Lane and Lori Lane.

Memorials may be made in his name through the funeral home to Crystal Cathedral or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
