MARSHALL - A mass of Christian burial for Opal R. Vculek, 78, wil be noon Saturday at St. Camillus Catholic Church. The Rev. Mark Mason will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hennessey.
Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home , Hennessey. She was born Dec. 16, 1922 in the Duncan area to Edward and Effie King Shawn and died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at St. Anthony's Hospital, Oklahoma City.
She married Joseph Vculek May 30, 1975, in Oklahoma City. She was a member of St. Camillus Catholic Church and St. Camillus Altar Society.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph of the home; one son Roger Tucker of Jones; two sisters, Thelma Wilkinson of Oklahoma City and Ruby Gill of Moore; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
