August Vculek, 62, a lifelong resident of Bison died in an Enid hospital Friday afternoon after a several weeks illness.
Rosary services for Mr. Vculek were at 7 P.M. Sunday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison and funeral mass was at 9 AM Monday with Rev. John O'Brien officiating.Burial was in the Hennessey Cemetery under direction of Cordry and Son funeral Home.
Mr. Vculek was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church , the American Legion, Catholic Workmen and Holy Name.
He is survived by his wife, Anna , of the home; one sister, Mrs. Emma Zelnicek, Bison; six brothers, Joe and Anton of Marshall; Frank and Louis, Hennessey; Emil Kingfisher, and Albert, Bison.

Funeral mass for Mrs. Anna Vculek were held Saturday morning , October 3, 1960 in the St. Joseph Catholic church at Bison.
Jun 1899 - Sep 29, 1960Burial followed in the Hennessey Cemetery.
Mrs. Vculek was born in June 1899 in the Bison area and died early Thursday , September 29, 1960 at her home in Bison.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Rose Fuksa of Bison; three sisters Mrs. Emil Vculek and Mrs. John Skala of Kingfisher, and Mrs. Frank Burshik of Wichita; two brothers John and Joe Fuksa of Bison and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, John N. Fuksa.
