Dale was born at Enid on August 1, 1941 to C. M. and Alberta Markes Roder and died Monday June 13, 2005 at Integris Baptist Health Center in Enid.

Dale graduated from Hennessey High School in 1959. He farmed in the Hennessey area from 1964-1969. He was a rural mail carrier for thirty-one years for the Hennessey Post Office. Dale was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Hennessey Powder and String Club.

He is survived by one brother, Paul M. Roder and wife Glenna of Hennessey; one sister, Ramona Lambert of Titusville, Florida; eleven nephews and two nieces.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Georgia Ann Vincent.

Dale served in the US Army.
